On Friday May 5, 2023 at approximately 4:30 PM, a Wilmington Police Officer was flagged down in front of a Wilmington business for a female in the store shoplifting., Upon arrival the Wilmington Police Officer found the female exiting the store with items unpaid for in her purse. The suspect was identified as Jennifer Formel, age 47, of West Dover, VT. Formel was charged with Retail Theft and was cited to appear in the Vermont Superior Court- Windham Criminal Division on 6/20/23 to answer to the charges.
