On April 20, 2023 at approximately 5:07 PM, Wilmington Police Officers were dispatched to a local residence for a report of a male subject who was attempting to gain entry to an apartment where there was a subject inside with a protection order against the male. Upon arrival Wilmington Police Department were able to identify the suspect as Samuel J LaRoche, age 30, of Wilmington VT. LaRoche had allegedly committed the offenses of Unlawful Trespass, Unlawful Mischief, Violation of Conditions of Release, and Aggravated Stalking. LaRoche was flash cited to appear in the Vermont Superior Court - Windham Criminal Division on April 21, 2023 at 12:30 PM to answer to the charges.

During the screening, the operator became disorderly and belligerent and was subsequently arrested for DUI, Disorderly Conduct, and Unlawful Trespass. The defendant, Nicholas J. Dix, age 28, of Whitingham, VT was cited to appear in the Vermont Superior Court - Windham Criminal Division on May 30, 2023 at 8:00 AM to answer to the charges.

The suspect then left the area in his vehicle. During the investigation Wilmington Police were able to locate and identify the suspect as Charles Williams, age 34, of Wilmington, VT. Williams was arrested and charged with Simple Assault. Williams was cited to appear in the Vermont Superior Court - Windham Criminal Division on 6/20/2023 to answer to the charges.

The suspect was identified as Jennifer Formel, age 47, of West Dover, VT. Formel was charged with Retail Theft and was cited to appear in the Vermont Superior Court- Windham Criminal Division on 6/20/23 to answer to the charges.
